We believe customers, regulators, and end users deserve a clear explanation of how AI is used in FreshLocalSEO. This document is that explanation. It supplements (and does not replace) our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
In FreshLocalSEO, we use AI for drafting Google Business Profile posts, suggesting photos and call-to-action buttons, and working your keywords into drafts naturally.
In plain English: FreshLocalSEO drafts Google Business Profile posts (updates, offers, events, and products) in your brand voice, using the business details and keywords you give it, and keeps them on a posting calendar. You review every draft. Once you connect your Google Business Profile, you can publish an approved post to Google in one click; until then, you copy the post into your Google profile yourself. FreshLocalSEO only publishes posts you have approved, and drafts are never published on their own.
We use Anthropic's Claude family of models to draft text for you. We do not train any model on your data.
We do not use the content of customer data to train AI models. Inputs sent to our AI providers are processed only for the purpose of returning output to us, and our providers are contractually prohibited from training their models on those inputs.
Every post is a draft until you approve it. Only approved posts can be published to Google, and only after you connect your profile.
Where the Service offers an auto-send or auto-publish option, you can change that setting at any time in the dashboard. We default to human-in-the-loop wherever practical.
AI is fast and useful, but it is not perfect. Please be aware that AI Output may:
You are responsible for reviewing AI Output before relying on it, publishing it, or sending it to third parties.
The profile audit can suggest a new business description with AI, which you edit and approve before anything is sent to Google. The weekly AI answer check asks AI assistants (Claude, and ChatGPT and Gemini where enabled) questions about businesses like yours and shows you their answers; answers vary and are a sample. Spam Fighter flags are rule-based.
Some laws require telling people when they are interacting with AI or when content is AI-generated. Here is how that works in FreshLocalSEO today:
You are responsible for any additional disclosure required by the law that applies to you or your customers, by your industry, or by the platforms you post to.
If someone disputes a message, reply, or other output, the business that sent it can edit or remove it from its dashboard. Anyone can also e-mail [email protected] (subject line: “AI question — FreshLocalSEO”); we will pass it to the business within one business day.
The AI processes only the data needed to perform its function. We minimize input scope wherever possible and avoid sending unnecessary personal information to the model.
We may update this Disclosure as the Service, the law, or our providers change. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect.
